Letterwinners Challenge
Varsity "O" is participating in the Letterwinners Challenge, an unprecedented effort to end veteran homelessness. Head football coaches throughout the Midwest are leading this event, and have recorded Public Service Announcements which have been running during Saturday football games. "The Challenge" turns long-standing sports rivalries into a brand new competition to see which Letterwinner Association can lead the charge to raise the most money to help homeless vets in their state reclaim their lives.

Womens's Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2011
The Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame will grow by 11 members this year, as six men and five women will be inducted the weekend of Sept. 9 and 10 the Men's Varsity O Alumni Association and the Women's Varsity O Alumnae Society announced Wednesday. The class will be officially inducted Sept. 9 during a ceremonial dinner and introduced to the public at halftime of the Ohio State home football game against Toledo Sept. 10. read more >>

The Degree Completion Program for Former Student-Athletes
The Degree Completion Program was established at The Ohio State University in 1994 under the direction of the Department of Athletics. At the time it was called the Outreach Education Program and since its inception, more than 100 former student-athletes have participated in this nationally recognized program. read more >>
